Carcharodontosaurus is a genus of carnivorous dinosaur that lived in what is now north africa during the middle -cretaceous period. Its teeth were sharp and serrated on both sides, sort of like a shark's, giving it the name Carcharodontosaurus which means "shark toothed lizard".  Carcharodontosaurus was one of the largest theropods that ever lived with varius scientist suggesting a length of 13 metres and a weight of 7 tonnes. It first appeared on Lost Worlds where 2 males are fighting for territory, the victorious then stalked a herd of Ouranosaurus then killed one. It then fight and lost to a Spinosaurus over a dead carcass, but the bite it gave it combined with bad weather ultimately killed the Spinosaurus. It then reappeared on New Giants, where it played and won a tug-of war against a Sarcosuchus over a young sauropod but was scared away by the adults. Then the narrator explains that when the sauropods died off, Carcharodontosaurus followed.
